Carpet Adhesives

Carpet assembly typically requires a thermoplastic adhesive layer between the backing and the tufted carpet fibers. We provide polyamide adhesives that are compatible with either slot die or roll coating applicators that meet or exceed building recyclability content in California and other states adopting similar regulations. Our polyamides have a 2 year shelf life when stored properly and are based on post-industrial pre-consumer fatty acids derived from vegetable bio-mass waste. When used as an adhesive layer in a nylon based carpet system, the entire product can be considered 100% nylon, which aids in recyclability.
